July 7th

of NOS Alive’23.

He grew up in Carcavelos, Cascais, where music and the influences of Hip Hop, Reggae, among others, have always had a great expression. It was early on that his interest and sensibility for music became apparent. The will to create has always been there, and it was as Lhast Hope that he started out. He was part of the Fyah Box Sound collective, where he honed his musical skills and attracted the attention of fans and critics alike.

He studied music production in the UK and lived in Los Angeles, USA, where his approach and talent gained a new international dimension, leading him to discover his characteristic sound and musicality, always ahead of its time. As a producer, he was the mind responsible for some of the biggest national hits of the last decade, a key element in the discovery of new textures and musical composition of artists like Richie Campbell, Profjam, Wet Bed Gang, Diogo Piçarra, Regula, Dillaz, among many others.

In 2018, he participates in the theme “Tou Bem” (Profjam & Lhast) where its unavoidable refrain, earned the single a Triple Platinum.

He launched himself as a solo artist and singer in 2019, where his debut song “jND”, quickly became one of the biggest hits of the year, reaching Platinum Award. His debut album

(2020) also features the hits “Saturno”(Golden Single), “2020” (Golden Single) and “Pluto”. Last year she released her second album
