Benjamin Coyle-Larner, the new British hip hop prodigy, best known for his stage name Loyle Carner, debuts at NOS Alive’19 on July 11th at Sagres Stage.<\/p>\n
Loyle Carner was unveiled in 2014, with the release of his debut EP “A Little Late”. That same year he released “Guts,” a collaborative theme in partnership with poet and rapper Kate Tempest. The Young rapper began to generate hype among lovers of alternative hip hop, distinguishing himself by his soft voice and conscious message. His confessional and classic beat hip hop style led to NME describing him as “the best thing that has happened to British rap since MF Doom.”<\/p>\n
They followed concerts in their own name, and as a support artist in the tours of MF Doom, Kate Tempest and Joey Bada$.<\/p>\n
In 2017 he released his first album, “Yesterday’s Gone”, which came to leave a mark on music in general and Hip Hop in particular, and from where the singles “The Isle of Arran” and “Ain’t Nothing Changed” were left. Later that year he also had an appointment for the Mercury Prize, and in 2018 he received two nominations for the Brit Awards, as the best male artist (British Male Solo artist) and as a revelation artist (British Breakthrough Act).<\/p>\n
