Lorde<\/strong>, Grammy winner and one of the most important names in music today, is the new confirmation for the day July 11th<\/a> <\/strong>on the NOS Stage<\/strong> at NOS Alive’26<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Lorde is a cultural force recognized for her unclassifiable sound, introspective lyricism and singular creative vision. Since her debut with Pure Heroine<\/em><\/a> <\/strong>in 2013, she has redefined the contours of modern pop – combining poetic writing with minimalist, emotionally intense production. To date, she has over 18 billion streams and 18 million albums sold worldwide.<\/p>\n

In April 2025, she returned with “What Was That”, her first original release in four years and the first advance for her new album, Virgin<\/em><\/a><\/strong>. The single debuted to critical acclaim and commercial success, reaching #1 on Spotify in the US – her first number one on the platform since “Royals” – as well as hitting #3 in the UK and #5 globally, reaffirming her place at the forefront of contemporary pop music.<\/p>\n

After “What Was That”, followed by “Man of the Year” and “Hammer” – which have consistently climbed the charts and already have almost 200 million streams before the album’s release – now comes the next step in Lorde’s artistic evolution. Co-produced by Lorde and Jim-E Stack, the new work was celebrated with a special event in New York, where the artist offered fans an exclusive preview of the album and is preparing to present it to the Portuguese public on July 11.<\/p>\n
