One of the biggest surprises of this collaboration is undoubtedly the return of Macacos do Chinês, a group that embraces fusion as its core element—blending the Portuguese language and guitar with the cultural universe of the UK (grime, bass culture) and the fluidity and power of Creole as sources of inspiration.

Now, after nearly 15 years on hiatus, they are back with a renewed drive to create and mix it all together—at a time when fusion is more essential than ever.

Macacos do Chinês will perform at WTF Clubbing on July 11, under the curation of Match Attack for NOS Alive’25.
