The War on Drugs, one of the most acclaimed bands in contemporary rock, join the lineup of NOS Alive’25, with a performance scheduled for the Heineken Stage on July 10.
Led by Adam Granduciel, The War on Drugs have established themselves as one of the great names in 21st-century rock, blending alternative sounds with the classic spirit of American rock. The group won the GRAMMY Award for Best Rock Album in 2018 with A Deeper Understanding and was nominated for a BRIT Award for Best International Group.
Over the past decade, the band has captivated both fans and critics with albums like Lost In The Dream (2014) and I Don’t Live Here Anymore (2021) — the latter described by Pitchfork as “a refinement of the meticulous, luminous sound that Granduciel has perfected.”
After selling out legendary venues such as Madison Square Garden, The War on Drugs are finally bringing their hypnotic and expansive sound to the Passeio Marítimo, promising to make their set one of the most thrilling moments of the festival’s three days. When performing together, the group is known for their intense and immersive shows, turning each concert into an unforgettable sonic journey.
July 10 — Heineken Stage — NOS Alive’26, yet another unmissable name on the lineup of one of Europe’s greatest music festivals. NOS Alive returns to its long-time home at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 9, 10, and 11, 2026.
