Led by Adam Granduciel, The War on Drugs have established themselves as one of the leading names in 21st-century rock, blending alternative sounds with the classic spirit of American rock. The group won the GRAMMY Award for Best Rock Album in 2018 with A Deeper Understanding and was nominated for a BRIT Award for Best International Group.

Over the past decade, the band has captivated fans and critics alike with the albums Lost In The Dream (2014) and I Don’t Live Here Anymore (2021) — the latter described by Pitchfork as “a refinement of the meticulous and luminous sound that Granduciel has perfected.”

After selling out legendary venues such as Madison Square Garden, The War on Drugs are finally bringing their hypnotic and expansive sound to the Passeio Marítimo, promising one of the most thrilling moments of the three-day festival.
