Ana Sofia Varela is the latest addition to the Galp Fado Café lineup. The fado singer will take the stage on July 10th, the second day of the 2026 edition of NOS Alive.

Born in Lisbon and raised in Serpa, Alentejo, Ana Sofia Varela began her journey in Fado after encountering the work of Amália Rodrigues, which she combined with her natural love for singing.

Throughout her career, she has sought to pay homage to women and the Portuguese guitar, undeniable themes in Portuguese music and particularly Fado, a universe in which Ana Sofia has always navigated.

Following a successful edition in 2025, the Galp Fado Café returns to NOS Alive as a space dedicated to celebrating and promoting Portuguese culture through some of the most remarkable voices in Fado, such as Geadas, who will be present on July 9th.
