João Nuno Gonçalo takes to the Comedy Stage on the first day of NOS Alive’26, July 9th.

A 29-year-old Portuguese-Azorean comedian, João Nuno Gonçalo was born into music, grew up in medicine, but sees himself growing old in comedy. In 2023, he launched his first solo YouTube video, “Herói da Pandemia” (Pandemic Hero), and more recently has gained more prominence on social media through humorous videos with satire, humor, and observation, reaching millions of views and gathering thousands of followers. In 2025, he made his acting debut in the Netflix series “Rabo de Peixe” (Fish Tail).
