João Maria will host the Comedy Stage throughout the day on July 9th at NOS Alive’26.

An actor, comedian, and content creator, among other projects, João stands out as co-author and protagonist of “A Série” on RTP2, co-author and actor in “PLIM” with Salvador Martinha, and is part of the cast of “Bairro do Humor” by Eduardo Madeira.

He moves between the stage and the digital world doing what he does best: looking at life with wonder, stumbling upon it with some elegance, and transforming those small misfortunes into comedy.

On the Comedy Stage, on July 9th, the first day of the 2026 edition of the Festival, he promises some of the best moments of the festival.
