GRAMMY-winning global sensation Tyla performs on July 12th on the NOS Stage at NOS Alive’24.

Tyla’s music pushes boundaries, with songs that offer a fresh take on pop and R&B, shining with the euphoria of South African amapiano and an otherworldly production that makes them unique. Originally from Johannesburg, the artist rose to international prominence with her debut single “Getting Late” with Kooldrink, whose message in the chorus, “Not gonna waste my time”, took on powerful meaning. Despite initial difficulties, Tyla persevered, releasing new singles such as “Been Thinking” and “To Last” through Epic Records, demonstrating her versatility and moving towards her goals.

With a childhood marked by music, Tyla always knew that her passion was singing.
