Pearl Jam were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, cementing the Seattle-based band as one of the most popular rock & roll acts of their time.
In 2020 they published Gigaton their latest studio album, on March 27. This, the band’s 11th studio album, was well received by critics. Rolling Stone wrote that the album is “an admirable and inspiring example of mature grunge”. Spin, which also had a positive opinion of the album, said that “Gigaton has something for everyone. It’s a complex and dynamic album, full of sincere emotion and subtle humor.” “Firm and relaxed, political and personal, Pearl Jam have completely nailed the perfect balance,” wrote Mojo.
On July 13, Pearl Jam will take to the NOS Stage at the 16th edition of NOS Alive for a concert that is sure to be one of the most special of 2024.
