Weezer is the latest confirmation for the 13th edition of NOS Alive. The Los Angeles quartet, composed with Rivers Cuomo (voice and guitar), Patrick Wilson (drums), Brian Bell (guitar, voice and Keys), and Scott Shriner (bass and voice), plays at NOS Stage on the first day of the festival, July 11th. The band brings to Passeio Marítimo de Algés the new original work, “Black Album”. Until today, two singles are known – “Can’t Knock the Hustle”, which counts on the music video with Pete Wentz’s special participation of Fall Out Boy.
The alternative rock band, by many considered cult, was born in 1992 and today sums more than 9.2 million albums sold in the United States and 17 million outside of their home country. In their discography they have 11 albums and a list of successes such as “Buddy Holly”, “Undone (The Sweater Song)”, “Say It ain’t So”, “El Scorcho” “Hash Pipe”, “Island In The Sun”, “Beverly Hills”, or “Pork and Beans”. The recognition of the work of the group has been visible and the band adds several industry weight prizes among them a Grammy and an MTV Video Music Awards.
A concert that has everything to be brilliant, both for the fans, as well as for those who still do not know the path of the band.
