Bad Nerves are the latest confirmation for the Heineken Stage on July 10. The band from Essex will make their debut on the Passeio Marítimo de Algés at the 17th edition of NOS Alive.
Rebellious offspring of a one-night stand between the Ramones and The Strokes, Bad Nerves play ferociously fast and distorted pop songs. Their totally independent debut album won the hearts and minds of the cream of the alternative scene, from British names like Dan P Carter and Alyx Holcombe to rock legends like Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard. Compared to Supergrass, the Ramones and Jay Reatard, they actively seek to create direct, raw and explosive rock, true to the roots of the genre. Their second album Still Nervous only reinforced this sound, with the singles “You’ve Got the Nerve” and “Antidote”.
