Global pop superstar Dua Lipa is back with her new single “Houdini” – which introduces the beginning of a new chapter in the artist’s career, following the successful release of the album “Future Nostalgia” (2020).
“Houdini”, produced by Danny L. Harle and Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, begins the narrative sequence, which traces the artist’s new path. It’s the embodiment of that “4 a.m. feeling, when the night is about to end and you’re a bit sweaty, but you don’t want the party to end.”
“This song represents the lighter, liberating parts of being single,” says Dua. “‘Houdini’ is quite ironic, it explores the idea that either one person can make my time count or I can disappear at the end of the night. You never know where something might take you and that’s the beauty of being open to whatever life throws your way. I’m excited to be able to share that sense of defiant happiness with my fans.”
This new path will take the Albanian artist to NOS Alive, where she will take the NOS Stage for the first time on July 12, 2024.
