Everybody Scream
, Florence + the Machine’s sixth album, is scheduled for release on October 31st. Written and produced over the last two years by Welch, this new work has involved a close circle of collaborators: Mark Bowen, from the band IDLES (who appears in the video for “Everybody Scream”), Aaron Dessner and Mitski.

After having her life saved by surgery during the “Dance Fever” tour, Florence went through a recovery that led her down a path of exploring spiritual mysticism, witchcraft and folk horror, as she came to know the limits of her body and explored what it means to be “healed”. The album tackles themes such as femininity, relationships, ageing and death, exposing the dark side of banality.

Over the course of five albums – Lungs (2009), Ceremonials (2011), How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (2015), High As Hope (2018) and Dance Fever (2022) – Florence has become one of the monumental artists of her generation, having achieved several number one hits with her albums in the United States and the United Kingdom and winning numerous awards.

Known for her breathtaking live performances and unique, iconic voice, Florence has sold out concerts and headlined major music festivals all over the world. She has also collaborated and shared the stage with industry icons – including The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift – published a book of lyrics, poems and drawings, “Useless Magic” and is now preparing to take to the NOS Stage at the 18th edition of the festival.

NOS Alive returns to its usual home at Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 9, 10 and 11, 2026.
