Originally from Dingley in Melbourne, Australia, Jet quickly conquered the world after forming in 2001, selling over 6.5 million albums globally and achieving almost 10 Platinum certificates in Australia and Platinum in the US and UK with their debut album Get Born released in 2003.

This album spawned a series of classic singles such as “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”, “Rollover DJ” and “Look What You’ve Done”, earning the band six ARIA awards in 2004. Both “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” and “Cold Hard Bitch” reached number one on the Modern Rock charts in the USA, propelling the band to the top of festival posters and music charts around the world. Jet’s second album, Shine On, arrived in 2006, with another collection of melodic rock anthems such as “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is” and “Bring It On Back”, and was certified platinum in Australia.

In 2023, they celebrated the 20th anniversary of the release of Get Born, an occasion marked by the band’s first concerts in five years, playing the album in its entirety. In November 2023, Jet were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. After a successful 2024 tour of Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States – with sold-out concerts on the “20 Years Of Get Born – Extended Edition Tour” – the band is now preparing to arrive in Europe and perform at NOS Alive’25.
