Alec Benjamin is the new confirmation for the Heineken Stage on July 7, in the 14th edition of NOS Alive. The artist joins the poster of the second day with the already announced Florence + The Machine, Jorja Smith, alt-J, Glass Animals, Celeste, Dino d’Santiago, Nilüfer Yanya, Seasick Steve, The Four and A Half and Inhaler.

The platinum-certified singer-songwriter began his career in 2013 with his debut single, “Paper Crown”, in the dormitory of the University where he studied. A number of songs followed, “The Water Fountain”, “End of Summer” and “I Built a Friend”, its 2017 viral hit, which hit more than 4 million streaming on Spotify in less than a year.

In 2018 “Let Me Down Slowly”, the single from their debut album Narrated For You, reached over 2 million streams in the first week, with more than 300 million currently.

In May 2020 he released the album These Two Windows, in which the first single “Demons” became a hit. On April 15 this year the singer-songwriter has prepared the edition of his third album (UN)COMMENTARY, from which the singles “Shadow Of Mine”, “Older” and “The Way You Felt” – a series of songs that are described as stories that young adults can relate to as they move from the high school to adulthood.
