Florence + The Machine and Fontaines D.C. released new singles this week in anticipation of the new albums to be soon released.

Free” is the fourth single from the long-awaited album “Dance Fever” from Florence + The Machine, scheduled to be released on May 13. Directed by Autumn de Wilde, the video features Florence Welch herself, and Bill Nighy as her Anxiety, which, throughout the video, controls her movements and emotions. Recorded in Kyiv, Ukraine, in November 2021, the video ends with a message of support for the Ukrainian people: “Dedicated to the spirit, creativity and perseverance of our brave Ukrainian friends. Filmed in Kyiv on November 18, 2021 with Ukrainian filmmakers and artists, whose radiant freedom can never be extinguished“. On July 7, Florence + The Machine performs on the NOS Stage of the 14th edition of NOS Alive. Tickets are available here.

Fontaines D.C.’s new album, Skinty Fia will be released already this Friday, April 22, as they show us their latest single that precedes this release. “Roman Holiday” makes Grian Chatten think “of the wide streets of north London in the summer and the desire to discover them at night. The thrill of being part of a gang of Irish people in London with a little secret language and my first apartment with my girlfriend.” The Irish band plays on the Heineken Stage of NOS Alive on the first day of the festival.
