IDLES are the first confirmation for July 7th, at the NOS Stage, of the 15th edition of NOS Alive.

Since the release of their first album, Brutalismin 5 years the Bristol Punk Rock band hasn’t stopped growing, guaranteeing sold out tours and presence in many festivals around the world. Its successor Joy as an Act of Resistance. was considered one of the most acclaimed rock albums of the year and paved the way for the colossal Ultra Monothe band’s first UK #1 album.

Crawler, their latest work, was born out of the urgency that their global fan base was expecting, and that increased their sound with more melodic and introspective songs. Year after year the band has been gaining a stronger and stronger position in the music world, releasing the film: “Don’t Go Gentle: A Film about IDLES” that has been shown in many international film festivals.

On December 9, the band is preparing to re-release their most successful album, Brutalism, on vinyl entitled Five Years of Brutalism. The album, originally released in March 2017, surpassed expectations to become one of the most important debut albums of the decade. On the surface an aggressive music and verses, where you find a level of confessional vulnerability and honesty that cemented it as a classic.

The IDLES then climb to the NOS Stage at NOS Alive’23 to perform on July 7 where they promise one of the most energetic and explosive shows of the 15th edition.
