King Princess is confirmed at the Heineken Stage on the last day of the 15th edition of NOS Alive.
Mikaela Mullaney Straus, aka King Princess, is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer whose debut single, “1950” – an ode to untold queer stories – became an instant hit with over 600 million streams to date and reached Platinum status in the United States and Australia.
Her debut album, Cheap Queen, was released in 2019 by Mark Ronson’s Zelig Records/Columbia Records, widely acclaimed by critics in such media as The New York Times, Pitchfork, NPR, Rolling Stone and others, and has had appearances on “Saturday Night Live” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
Sold-out tours have taken her all over the world to festivals like Coachella, Glastonbury, Governors Ball, and Bonnaroo.
In July 2022, he released his second album, Hold On Baby which was produced by Ethan Gruska, Aaron Dessner, Dave Hamelin, and Mark Ronson. The album also features contributions from Justin Vernon, Bryce Dessner, James Krivchenia, and drums from Taylor Hawkins on the album’s epic closing, “Let Us Die.”
