The Sea Girls are presenting their third studio album, Midnight Butterflies, which is due to be released on June 14. Divided into 12 melodically pop parts, the album is the confident sound of a band that is reaching its peak. It’s intelligent, positive pop music for the 21st century, genuine, authentic and with a positive message that runs throughout the album. Fully revitalized creatively, the band is asserting itself artistically and preparing wholeheartedly for its biggest year yet.

“It looks and sounds like a beginner band making their energetic and untouched debut album. It’s super optimistic and euphoric. There was a huge amount of freedom in the making of this work. It’s an exciting time for music in all genres, and who doesn’t want to be a part of that?” says Henry Camamile, lead singer of the quartet.

The Sea Girls burst onto the scene in 2017 and have never looked back. The albums Open Up Your Head (2020) and Homesick (2022) both reached the top three of the UK album charts and have been a constant presence on the radio since day one. Multiple ‘Hottest Records’ on BBC Radio 1, tracks on playlists and sessions, supported and acclaimed by the specialized press and over 220 million streams, make Sea Girls one of the most interesting projects of this generation.

On July 12, they are preparing to return to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés at the WTF Clubbing of the 16th edition of NOS Alive.
