Stromae is the new confirmation for the NOS Stage, on the first day of NOS Alive’22, which takes place at Passeio Marítimo de Algés on the 6, 7, 8 and 9 July 2022.
The musician, who has marked his debut at all in Portugal on the NOS Stage of the festival, achieved worldwide fame in 2010, after the release of the debut album, “Cheese”, released in May of that year. The first single from the album “Alors On Danse” entered directly into the TOP of more than 15 countries and was later remixed by Kanye West.
The Belgian musician’s second album, “Racine Carrée”, released in 2013, includes the singles “Papaoutai” and “Formidable”, which reached the top of the charts in France and Belgium and resulted in more than two million copies sold worldwide. This second studio record earned him three Victoire de la Musique Award.
On October 15, 2021, he released “Santé”, the breakthrough single from the artist’s new work, considered one of the most interesting musicians in the European electronic scene.
This time, the NOS Stage and the Portuguese public are preparing to host – for the first time – at NOS Alive, Stromae on July 6, 2022.
