Tame Impala have just been confirmed to perform on July 10th on the NOS Stage at the 19th edition of NOS Alive. This marks the first major announcement for the 2027 edition, featuring one of the biggest names in contemporary music.

The announcement comes amidst their current US tour and follows the resounding success of their latest album, *Deadbeat*—released in October 2025—on which the track “Loser” hit #1 on the Global Spotify Chart and broke into the Billboard Hot 100 Top 25. Meanwhile, “Dracula (Jennie Remix)” remains in the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 and has earned a VMA nomination for Best Alternative Song.

Kevin Parker is the genius behind the Tame Impala project, having established himself as one of the most influential voices of the last decade. He drives the band’s exploration of diverse musical genres, personally playing every instrument and handling virtually every aspect of song creation—from composition and production to recording, mixing, and engineering.

On this fifth album, Parker explored an intensely powerful “club-psych” sound that fuels some of his most high-profile and addictive tracks to date. In his native Australia, he has won 13 ARIA Awards and received 27 nominations, alongside a BRIT Award for Best International Group and nominations for two Billboard Music Awards and an American Music Award. “The Less I Know The Better”—one of Tame Impala’s biggest hits—further demonstrates the band’s success; it is a member of the “Billionaires Club” with over 2 billion streams and has garnered multiple gold and platinum certifications worldwide. Tame Impala officially opens the gates of the Passeio Marítimo de Algés for three unique days where music takes center stage. Marking its 19th edition on July 8, 9, and 10, NOS Alive is set to write another chapter in its history, bringing together some of the biggest names in global music and a community of fans that, year after year, makes the festival one of the summer’s major events.
