Following a memorable concert today in Lisbon—held at the country’s largest indoor venue—The Neighbourhood will return to Portugal next summer to perform on the NOS Stage on July 8 at NOS Alive’27.
The Californian band was in Portugal today to showcase their latest album, *(((ultraSOUND)))*, released in November 2025, which marked the group’s return to the stage after a three-year hiatus. The record retains the dark, melancholic atmosphere that defines The Neighbourhood’s sonic identity while reaffirming the blend of indie rock, alt-rock, and pop that established them as one of the most acclaimed bands of their generation.

Formed in 2011, The Neighbourhood quickly secured a prominent spot in the international indie scene. In 2013, they released their debut album, *I Love You.*, featuring “Sweater Weather”—one of the band’s biggest hits and a global phenomenon. The track topped Billboard’s Alternative chart and, more than a decade later, remains one of the most iconic songs in their discography.

The band’s rise continued with *Wiped Out!* (2015), followed by *The Neighbourhood* (2018) and *Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones* (2020), cementing a distinctive sound and aesthetic.

Their return to live performance came with “THE WOURLD TOUR”—the band’s largest world tour to date—which visited some of the world’s most iconic venues, including Madison Square Garden, The O2, Barclays Center, the Kia Forum, and the MEO Arena.

Now, The Neighbourhood is preparing to return to the NOS Alive stage. On July 8—the opening day of the festival’s 19th edition—the Californian band will perform on the NOS Stage, marking one of the most anticipated moments of NOS Alive’27.
