Fontaines D.C. reveal the title track video of the band’s second album, which is due to be released on April 22. “Skinty Fia“, directed by Hugh Mulhern, is the third single from this new work to be presented on July 6 from NOS Alive.
The successor to the singles “Jackie Down the Line“ and “I Love You” is named after an Irish saying that revolves around a metaphor that explores the deeper meaning of the album’s title, translating into “the deer’s condemnation“.
“The correct expression of your feelings about the ‘mutation’ of Irish culture abroad. The song explores the idea through the lens of a relationship condemned by paranoia, alcohol and drugs,” says Grian Chatten, the band’s frontman.
